Printing website graphics or a whole site produces a poor outcome. Making printable graphics requires a different resolution (dpi, or ppi = pixels per inch). Web graphics are made at 72 dpi and print graphics should be done at 300 dpi or better. Most computers can not display more than 72 dots per inch, so no point making higher dpi graphics; they simply stretch out and grow out of proportion to the overall web design. Web graphics are made in the RGB process whereas print graphics are made in the CMYK process which, when viewed on a monitor, looks somewhat "washed out" in terms of colour.
